Had a blast working on this. I haven’t done a remix competition is a long time. But it’s so much fun to do a remix and I wanted to have fun. I played around with some different chords from the original. The vocals have a strong melody and one of my favorite things is to experiment with chords that vary from the composition as written. It’s controlled chaos or something, and when you find something that works it’s pretty much sonic magic.

Then I added some super heavy bass with Serum and did a last hurrah type chorus. It’s not going to be released officially (yes it’s very silly I know) but that’s good news for you! You can download it for free here:
